BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University’s Women’s Lacrosse Club will dedicate play on Saturday, March 31 to the continued efforts to find Lauren Spierer. Michigan State University, St. Louis University, Western Kentucky University and Lakeshore Lacrosse Club will join IU in honoring Lauren Spierer and the search that continues for answers in her disappearance. By disseminating information to teams from four Midwest states, the club hopes spectators and players raise awareness about Lauren’s disappearance within their campuses and hometowns in efforts to gain more information that will lead to finding Lauren. The club will provide findlauren.com bracelets to spectators and blue ribbons to all players participating that day.
As the one-year anniversary of her disappearance approaches, the club felt an urgency to keep Lauren’s story in the public by encouraging people to be alert in conversations and to report any information. A small piece of information could help complete this puzzling story and bring Lauren home.
